NOT AN IMPAIRMENT TEST FOR ALCOHOL. Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG) and Urine Alcohol Tests (UAL) tests are generally for zero tolerance alcohol abstinence programs, court-ordered programs, and DUI programs. ETG urine tests detect any alcohol consumption up to 80 hours (not current impairment).

Some hair tests involve specialty labs and we need to verify the collection site has the correct test kit, so processing time can take longer.

Many collection sites will collect head hair only and will turn away donors who cannot provide 2 inches of head hair. Facial hair is considered head hair. Body hair can have a much longer window of detection than head hair. EtG hair tests cannot be conducted with body hair.

*If listed, Amphetamines includes Methamphetamine. Opiates includes Codeine and Morphine, and will detect 6M-AM (heroin), even if it is not listed. Expanded Opiates includes Hydrocodone and Hydromorphone.

If a test is postive for Methamphetamine or 6M-AM (heroin), sometimes a d/l isomer test is performed. In this case, you will be charged $99 before we release the result. See our Terms and Conditions for details.

Hair tests are typically cut from the scalp. In cases where enough head hair is not available, body hair (arms, underarms, chest, leg) can often be used. Not all collection sites will collect body hair.
